[WP] Whenever you and our party hits tavern, you enjoy listening to your bard spin wondrous tales of your party’s exploits. They’re embellished to hell and back but make for an amusing evening. Tonight’s story was no different, with one exception. It’s not one you remember happening. Ever.

[WP] A strange sound wakes you at night. The animals are unusually quiet. You follow it to your barn where you find a scorched circle with a straw baby carrier in the middle. A newborn is wrapped in soft leather inside, and when he looks at you, he smiles ... revealing a pair of tiny fangs.

[WP] With a lot of hard work, you’ve made yourself a good life, achieving everything you could ever want. Tonight, your car rolled off a cliff and you were thrown clear. You land on your arm with a terrible crack, but the pain doesn’t come. Looking at your arm, it’s not bleeding. It’s sparking.

[WP] Your party has found the secret back entrance into the overlord’s palace. You look up to see the ancient engraving above the door and blanch in horror. “Is it a ward?” they ask. “No,” you answer knowing it has been centuries since you escaped that place. “It’s the royal sigil of Hell itself."

[WP] As an aging adventurer, you spend much of your free time in the cities. Your reflexes are still sharp though and the moment you feel your coin pouch move, your hand whips around to capture the thief. Turning, you realise you’ve seen the child’s lilac eyes every time you’ve looked in the mirror.

[WP] Everyone has heard of Stonehenge. Much less known (but from a similar era) is Seahenge. Archaeologists believe oak trees (including the upturned tree) were dragged for miles to create an altar to the afterlife. You watch them with an indulgent smile, for that’s not why your parents did it.

[WP] As a first responder, you search for a lost child in the mountains. You’re a local who knows these woods backwards. The storm is worsening, but you ignore the recall. Hours later, you find them, scared and hungry. They want to go home. So do you. You need to keep them distracted in the meantime
