Is there an alternative to Feliway that isn't awful smelling for humans? Or is my diffuser defective?

Update to my post about smell from Feliway plugin (I wasn't sure if it was defective or my sense of smell is too sensitive-tldr: it's both, lol). BUT also a warning to future buyers: open the box at the cashier when you buy it, because people are scammers
