Volcanic Bomb We live in a Volcanic Field in Nor. Calif. near a stratovolcano. One of our workers was digging out weeds in our back area. He was using a prying tool I use for rock hunting. He dug this up. A pyroclast, heavy small Rhyolite piece. I cleaned/scraped off the red clay volcanic soil.
