Do scientists/those in software sciences really believe that one day, we’ll be able to type out text messages/words using our thoughts (via implant maybe)? Is this a realistic vision of the future?

I can’t ever get a clear answer on this. What is the latest consensus, is there a finite amount of matter in the universe? Or, could the universe be filled with galaxies “forever”?

Can we travel in a straight line? If yes, then how could the universe “curve” into itself? What if you went straight, do you exit it?
