Should I respool this entirely or can i just join some more braid with a double uni knot to get my line to the lip for better casting distance? Or Should i just add a long mono leader but I also feel like a thick mono line and not running through my guides will slow my cast too?

Any good places public places i can take a kayak and fish from it? Also can you launch off the beach? I heard some of the communities are weird about boats so I'll keep that in mind.
