Im running Ventura on an iMac desktop with Dropbox and other items in the SSD plus an Archive 2TB drive for photos. However the SYSTEM DATA takes up about 80% of the SSD. Is this normal and how can I reduce it?

New to this sub - my iMac desktop has x2 hard drives - SSD 1TB for files + Archive 2TB for photos & Music...but its not working out quite how I planned, after a few months the SSD is nearly full and 80% of it is System Data.
