There is a claim on Texas Monthly that the Western cultural aspect of Texas (Cowboys, Mavericks, Rangers) was not the essence of Texas and it’s culture, before 1936, Texas was very similar to other Deep Southern states, and Western culture was an attempt to redefine Texas, far from the Confederacy?

In the Near Ancient East, there was a word which was “Habiru”. Which means rebels, mercenaries, servants and/or slaves. We have the word Hebrew that means “to pass over” in some translations. We also see Habiru in the Amarna letters as well. Is there any correlation between Hebrew group and “Habiru”
