This may be a dumb question to experienced modders, but the game is so finicky when it comes to multiplayer and mods that I feel compelled to ask. Does unpacking game files make any actual CHANGES to your game folder?

Game is acting like my fiancee and I have different mod orders and kicks her out before loading in - even they we very much do.
