When China entered the Korean War why was the US Air Force not better at helping the retreat to the 38th Parallel? I assumed we have had dominance in the air over Korea.

I've seen films which lend a good light to pilots respect for each other during WW1 and WW2. I was surprised to hear of one such story as actual fact. So my question is. Are there many verified accounts of pilots helping or in the least not shooting enemy pilots down?

Has the crossover between a conquering force, in which it's newly imposed religion, ever gone smoothly? We always think of extremes when if comes to major battles like the crusades. I'm looking at earlier conquests. Was instituting religion in a new society ever not bloody?

Are there any movies from any time period that have been 100% spot on in the every day life? Or followed the the truth in a strategic battle? Basically I'm asking the historians here is there a movie you have seen in your field you didn't cringe at when it comes to historical facts?
