I know this might be seen as a 'joke' question, but I'm honestly curious: If the placebo effect is real, do researchers also see 'placebo side effects' during double-blind trials?

Why don't they make anti-psychotic meds in long-acting form (subdural or shots)? Or even anti-depressants or HBP? Seems like a major but common thing is that patients stops taking their meds.
