I read in "Inside the Soviet Army," by Victor Suvorov. In it, he claims that, at least during the Khrushchev era, Soviet missile production was limited based on how much sensitive computer equipment they could buy from the US. Did Soviet missiles really contain American parts?

During World War II, were POWs of any/every nation entitled to back pay? Was the Federal German government ever liable for payment to German POWs?
