My phone can stream HD video and audio and the quality of both are pretty phenomenal. Yet, every conversation on the phone, and on land lines (even ones on VOIP) are often frustratingly awful. Why is this?

Because acceleration increases mass, is it theoretically possible to accelerate an object into becoming a black hole? What happens if it slows down afterwards?
