my parent. i'm asking for advice on how to accept the truth. how do people deal with abusive parents that love them? is it possible for me and them to have a loving relationship? is it backwards for me to want a relationship with them? i would appreciate anything.

how do people that endured abuse that have an unusual dynamic feel/felt about their abuse and is it really as valid as if it were the opposite? (ex. fem. perpetrator, younger hurts older, those who “consented,” child perpetrator, those who were pressured or not exactly forced, etc.)
