[WP] An internet conspiracy theorist stumbles upon an actual non-supernatural/sci-fi conspiracy. It goes about as well as you'd expect if an out-of-shape social misfit who's spent the last ten years mostly alone, convincing themselves of increasingly deranged things went up against trained spies

[WP] A crew on a spaceship of the gritty realistic type (think "The Expanse") comes in to contact with a sleek, utopian and mega-futuristic society with god-level technology who are able to treat space as if it weren't dangerous at all (Think Star Trek or Iain M. Banks "The Culture" series)

[WP] Since the dawn of recorded history, by sheer coincidence, any prediction made by anyone on a remote planet has been 100% correct. Today though, probability finally caught up.

[WP] Sometimes you can't really tell if you just blinked or if all the lights went out at the same time. 99% of the times you did just blink, and every once in a while it actually was the lights. But sometimes it's neither. Sometimes when you blink, you really blink.
