Does anyone know the logic the AI uses for recruitment, regarding their army composition? Coming across lots of enemies with 50% missile/50% melee, or 50% chariot/50% melee for example.

Playing as Mycenae, made Menelaus marry Helen of Troy. Okay. Nothing happened. Family tree doesn’t show menelaus, I don’t know if they ever had kids (not that I know how to see that). Is this a bug? I’m so confused.
