Attempted type c mod on O3DS. Should I just get a new board or can I save it? Notice the missing solder joint to right. Couldn't get it to work.

Feel free to roast my incompetence but have I just killed this device? That missing solder joint looks serious. Couldn't get type c to work. Solder + iron + cables might be crap apart from my lack of skill.
