[Physics] Pauli's exclusion principle states that no two fermions can occupy the same state, but how come it only seems to be relevant when the fermions are also really close?

Has anyone ever pin-pointed the geographic north/south pole, and would it be possible to walk/sail around it in a tiny circle to see a compass needle change continuously?

I recently learned, that part of the answer to Olber's paradox is, that a large portion of the stars, whose light does reach us, are simply redshifted out of the visible spectrum. Does this mean that I could go outside with a pair of night vision goggles and see stars that I couldn't normally?

Do we know of any stars that are likely to go supernova in the foreseeable future? Or is it more likely that if it happens, we wouldn't have seen it coming?

Is the "lightspeed" c truly constant, as in, not changing with the expansion of the universe? And does this mean that precise measurements will tell, that light takes longer and longer to complete the journey between two fixed points, such as the sun and earth (Or, remnants thereof, given the time)?
