John had always loved the concept of time travel. When bored, he’d often fantasize about what he’d do if he had actually time travelled to the past with his memories intact. Now, however, the sight of his supposed-to-be-dead family is more horrifying than exciting.

[WP] Being socially scorned by peers for being an unblessed by all the gods amongst humanity sucked. Sulking in the forest, you find an abandoned altar. Cleaning it out of pity, the forgotten deity blesses you. You just wish someone told you earlier that Satan was also technically a deity.
