In the movie Ip Man 4 (set in 1964), a Chinese man describes how his family moved to the USA to work on railways, but after the manual labor was done, there was a lot of racist lobbying to send the Chinese back to China. Is this an accurate description of events?

I just watched a particularly hand-wavy video on a conspiracy theory stating that the German Nazi regime (WWII) was an American business idea. I'm not buying it, but I don't know enough about it to dispute it point-by-point.
