[WP] Walking through the library, you are having trouble finding the book you are looking for. As you continue searching, you realize the shelves and ceiling are much taller than the building should allow for and the aisle now extends further than you can see in both directions.

[WP] Thinking no one could see you, you performed the ritual. It was just a silly article in a teen magazine, after all. It seemed fun, what harm could it do? As the elders observed, they knew the time had come for their return, and fate had chosen their herald.

[WP] As you hold a gun to your neighbor's head, both of you suspended upside down, hanging from the roof of a skyscraper, you start to laugh. You can't help but think about how normal the day was when you woke up this morning, and how absurd it is that this is how it will end.
