TIL the Paris Olympic Games of 1900 was a 5 month sideshow of the 1900 Paris Worlds Fair. It had poor venues, confusing schedules, few spectators, and athletes unaware of being in the Olympics! It took 121 years for the IOC to decide which events of "The Farcical Games" were truly “Olympic.”
