Anyone have experience with error 9, with a blown connector coming from the motor? Its a Crosscurrent X.

Blown out z910 connector on a Juiced Bike. Error code 9 (Motor phase line). Juiced says i need to send it to them and wait 4 weeks for them to replace the whole motor and likely controller, is this reasonable? Really seems like its just the connector.
