We pretty all know how fucked the Earth would be if all trees and plant life disappeared. Now what would be some of the side-effects (good and negative) if the total opposite happened: literally every single inch of dry land on Earth was covered in plants and trees?

In movies and video games, it seems to take only seconds for someone to be strangled to death, making it one of the perfect "silent takedowns". In real life, does it really only take that little amount of time, or does it take much, much longer?
