How long does it take an accommodation to be looked at? Also if it’s declined will I be stuck with upt negative and what do I do? I’m ready to get back to work.

I have a pending accommodation and need advice. I contacted hr support and was told to stay off until they review my application with that being said I’m now negative UPT for missing. 10 hours. (Whole shift) was I supposed to go or what do I do? I’m freaking out because I really love what I do.
