If something is infinitely improbable is that the same as saying it is impossible? If not, why not? If so, would that, e.g. disprove the infinite multiverse theory, because our universe would be infinitely improbable i.e., impossible?

Imagine that we have advanced warning of a few days that an asteroid the size of, say, Yankee Stadium, is headed directly for Earth. Are we all going to die, or do we have feasible options for avoiding or significantly lessening catastrophe? What if we had a longer lead time?
