Does DSOTM sound compressed or muffled to you? It doesn't sound as "vibrant" as other recordings from that time.

Maybe it's just me. I think David has one of the best voices in music and is one of the best guitarists... but he is not very good at writing songs. He needed Roger or another band... not solo work or leading the "reformed" Pink Floyd.
