An excerpt from Lord of the Rings: Will you be wanting anything to drink, masters?’ he asked. ‘And shall I show you the bedrooms, while your supper is got ready?’ What does the writer mean here by "is got?" Is it grammatical?

"why they all were not here" or "why they were all not here" or "why they were not all here." Which is the correct position of all. LOTR used the last one, but I am confused about all position.

As you can see the dialogue in below text, and as I have noticed, Tolkien, in many dialogues, used semicolon before coordinating conjunction. Can someone tell me meaning it conveys?
