How come Columbus never figured out that the Caribbean wasn’t actually India, as they spoke a different language and probably had different land and maybe looked different than the Indians.

i don’t know if this is a question for you guys or someone else but, why weren’t the early colonists wipes out by Hurricanes? were they just super lucky?	0
