If I had a stick that would be - let say - 1 light year long, and let say someone is at the other side of the stick... If I poke him with this stick ... He would get the info instantaneously (or at least not in one year time). Is this a way to theoretically make info travel faster than light ?

Will a star orbiting close to the supermassive black hole last at the centre of a Galaxy last for a lot longer than a star the same size that would be at the edge. Because the time would pass slower near the black hole ?
