[WP] After being lost in space, you are found and adopted by a species so advanced and alien that you feel much like a pet to them. But you get plenty of food, free health care, treats, lots of walkies... well, hell, this isnt so bad.

[WP] Dragons make surprisingly effective government administrators when you take into account their fiscal responsibility, near-immortal wisdom, and ability to defend their lands completely by themselves... All you have to do is submit your entire nation to being the dragon's hoard.

[WP] There's a mole in your organization. You've actually known for a while, but haven't done anything. You haven't alerted anyone or given orders because the intel says their actual name is "Meowy McMeowerson" and you refuse to believe any of it is real.

[WP] There is nothing more terrifying, to some, than becoming a starship captain. First you must be surgically adapted to the neural uplink of the ship. Then afterword, perhaps even worse, is the gradual perspective shift once you realize you are becoming so much more.

[WP] Mechs are now viable in combat. To mitigate the number of spine-crunching/ concussion injuries pilots face, quadriplegic volunteers have their brains completely removed and placed in the mechs. But after long periods, they claim they feel things that shouldn’t be able to.
