[WP] An exoplanet drifts through the solar system, closer than any past extrasolar body. NASA wants to reroute the Mars mission to land on it. You are desperately trying to convince them not to, but they don't take "I've had recurring nightmares about this specific thing since I was 5" as evidence.

[WP] By the 2100’s, AI is regulated by international treaty in much the same way as nuclear weapons are. But, not needing lots of radioactive material to work- AI’s could be built by anyone and difficult to track. Forcing nations to enforce AI treaties using... AIs.

[WP] As a Star Marshall, you handle shape-shifting infiltrator aliens. You’d think the worst part of the job is the bodies and blood in zero G. It’s not. It’s the look on the crews’ face as they realize this thing in front of them isnt their teammate/mentor/lover anymore. It’s just a hungry mouth.

This treaty requires renegotiation from time to time.
