In the movie Robin and the 7 Hoods, Sammy Davis Jr.'s character, during the musical number Bang! Bang!, switches from two realistic-looking revolvers for a much more fake-looking Tommy Gun. Were certain guns barred from having complete recreations used in film or was this just due to the era?
