Many apples that we eat are clones of apples which are hundreds of years old. Every time most human cells divide, the telomere on our DNA shortens until we eventually die. Why isn't this a problem for apple trees?

Diamonds are not actually rare. Supply is just artificially kept scarce. What's gemstones used in jewelry are actually scarce? What gemstones actually have a real limited supply in a meaningful way?

In 1952 the Miller–Urey experiment tried to recreate the chemical precursors of life probably found on Ancient Earth. This involved water. What did they do to try to remove all bacteria and other forms of life from the water? What better techniques do we have available today?

Supposing that you had some sort of ultralight, ultra-strong impossible material to prevent implosion, is there any reason that you could not make a blimp with a vacuum inside instead of helium?

A new theory is that a possible planet 9 might be a black hole the size of a human fist. It would still be very far away, but if it exists it would not require generations to reach by conventional methods. How if it all might we utilize a black hole of that size with the technology available today?
