flight from IAD to Amman was cancelled on Aug 1, Aug 3 & 5. United refused to book on other star alliance like LH and TK. Refunded the unused ticket but zero compensation re the delay and expenses I incurred to stay in hotel & to buy a new ticket at the last minute. Advice how to get compensation?
