After WWII, there must have been a sizable population of partially Japanese citizens born in China. What place in society did they hold, and, I guess more to the point, what happened to them?

Alexander the Great hellenized much of the ancient world and left so many "Alexandria's" in his wake, but I'm curious how long any ethnic Greek or Macedonian communities lasted in the remnants of his empire?
