[WP] Humanity is not the first technological species of Earth. In fact, when we finally make contact with supposed "aliens" we learn that they, and all other intelligent life in the galaxy, originated on Earth, but they all eventually abandoned it, for unknown reasons.

[WP] While war is nothing new to the galaxy, the rules of war agreed upon by the galactic community are so strict, that humanity, even with their strict adherence to the Geneva Convention, is seen as a warmongering and murderous species.

[WP] The personification of Death is always the person that has caused the most death and destruction during their lifetime. When you die you are surprised to see who has come to take you soul, but not as surprised as you are when they hand you their scythe and proclaim you as the next Death.

[WP] You are a superhero and your hero-persona allows you finally live as your true self. This goes so far that you consider the "hero-persona" to be your true identity, so when the villain attempts to finally unmask you they are very confused.

[WP] You were kidnapped and your kidnappers are demanding so little ransom that you feel insulted. But not as insulted as you feel when your family still starts to haggle with your kidnappers.

[EU] The dragon-born has died, and since they pledged themselves to so many daedric princes in their life, all of them are now fighting over who gets to keep the dragon-born's soul.

[WP] All magic is powered by emotions. Unfortunately, magic is EXTREMELY susceptible to one's emotional state, which makes magic *very* difficult to use at the best of times. It also makes it all the stranger that the mage you are fighting is just slinging spell after spell.
