Surprised that Francois Ozon, a popular director in France remains underrated outside of Europe. Even his most internationally well-known films (8 Femmes & Swimming Pool) don't even have Blu-Ray releases outside of France! He deserves as much love as Claire Denis & Jacques Audiard did IMO.

Decided to watch Midnight Cowboy because it keeps getting mentioned in Letterboxd Four Favourites videos and it didn't disappoint. It truly is "an actor's favourite film", the Chappell Roan of Films.
