My dandruff is really really bad. I have tried everything and nothing seems to work. What do I do?

My dandruff is quite moderate and I have tried oil and it only last a few days maybe even hours. People suggested hand and shoulders which ironically made my dandruff worse. I also live in a humid tropical rainforest climate so my dandruff shouldn’t even be that bad. What do I do ?
