Human eyes have a fovea, a region of the retina mose densley packed with cone cells. This means vision is sharp at the centre, but peripheral vision is blurry. What would it 'look' like if the entire retina had the same cone density as the fovea? How would the world appear?

The blue whale is the largest animal ever known to have existed. Among extinct animals, especially the well-known ones, many are quite large (typical example being dinosaurs). How did this end up being the case? Just a case of...that's how it happened to work out?
