I was looking at the floor plans to old Sears Homes from the early 1900s. At one point they go from naming things Parlors and Chambers to Living Rooms and Bedrooms. What caused this change? Was this a cultural thing? Why did we go from having parlors/chambers to living rooms and bedrooms?

Where does the wizard blue hat with crescent moons and stars come from? Is this actually something from old wizardry or books, a Hermetic Order/Aleister Crowley thing, or maybe a literature/Tolkien thing? Did it start with Mickey Mouse in Fantasia?

I've been getting in to more timeless hobbies such as fishing, gardening, woodworking, etc. This made me wonder: If I was a pioneer/homesteader in America, what would be the "must have" skills, knowledge and items needed for me to survive and thrive out on my own in the hills for a whole winter?

Learning about Native American cultures and it seems that the Mississippian and Pueblo cultures didn't have much contact with each other. Why is this? Was it as simple as distance and not having any navigable river routes over the continental divide or was there more to it?

Learning about Botany and discovered Carl Linnaeus. I discovered he named and classified over 7000 plants, but I was wondering if he had any "special" plants that held value to him? Where there any plants that were special or important to how he decided to name things?

I've been really interested in learning about my local history of the Ozarks, but TBH I can't find hardly any specifics of famous events, locations or people linked to the area (mostly folklore). Any help on where to start?

Learning about special relativity and electricity. From what I'm learning about the two they share a lot of similarities so I'm curious: Why is mass not just the measure of our gravitational charge or conductance? Why can gravity not (in theory) have a reverse charge where everything repels?
