Finished detailing the town but what should I put in the empty space around the town. Should I just keep it plain and simple and just add plants/rocks?

Posted these before, but I saw someone post a Victorian dining room so rather than typing a long paragraph of ways to improve I've decided to post a couple of my own. My main suggestion would be to make a wall and floor design with paintings, structurals and decals you can use throughout the room.
