Item hasn’t been shipped an today (Aug 2nd) is the last day of expected delivery date. Can I contact eBay today or do I have to wait until tomorrow?

Seller hasn’t shipped my item and today (August 2) is the last day of expected delivery date. Can I ask eBay to step in today/the day of the last estimated date or do I have to wait until August 3rd?
