I am a farmer in medieval China who has found a object of obvious 'antiquity' or 'foreignness' on my property (pottery, scrolls, jewelry, ect). Would I be encouraged to give it to a government bureaucrat or scholar when I am able to do so, or would I be best off trying to sell it?
