[Savage] Per Albert Breer: "What’s impressed coaches most about Drake Maye is how good of a processor he is. Can go, in his progression, from one to two to three fast; even threw a TD pass to his fourth read RZ drills the other day. Sees things right away, and footwork has come a long way, too."

[Mark Daniels] Drake Maye went 18-of-24 (75%) in the last two practices. Really nice rebound for the rookie after a tough 2-practice stretch on Monday and Tuesday. He’s 21 and there will be hiccups but you want to see him improve. That happened this week.

[Evan Lazar] How the Pats are developing Maye in TC: In team drills, the coaches are "gameplanning" to take away his strengths by blitzing to make him call a hot route, or by playing Cover-2 to take away the deep pass, forcing him to take profits. Maye has remained patient instead of forcing it.

[Evan Lazar] Good bounce back day for Patriots rookie QB Drake Maye. Showed off his arm with downfield completions to Wilcox (11s) and Pettway (7s) that were very clean. Also showed off his football IQ with a pre-snap check to a perimeter screen to beat a cover zero blitz.
