Why don’t our brains try to fix our bodily disorders(/diseases) even if WE (the holders of the brain) know what the disorder is, where it originates from, and how it could be theoretically fixed by the body? (Something like Essential Tremors Or even cancer comes to mind.)

Do we know if kids actually have better reaction times than adults, or are kids just more likely to not think before they act, meaning they APPEAR to react quicker, but really their instinct as kids is just to physically move while adults’ instinct is to mentally think things through?

I’m not looking to flip my circadian rhythm: I like going to sleep in the early AMs. What I want to know is: Can I use light sufficiently imitate night and day cycles such that my body gets all the melatonin, cortisol, etc. it needs but on MY preferred sleep schedule, not the sun’s?
