I’m not looking to flip my circadian rhythm: I like going to sleep in the early AMs. What I want to know is: Can I use light to sufficiently imitate night and day cycles such that my body gets all the melatonin, cortisol, etc. it needs but on MY preferred sleep schedule, not the sun’s?

For competitions (and yes, this was spurred by the Olympics) there should definitely be a category for being “clearly and obviously better than the competition at something, but just making a small mistake”.
