Weird hypothetical: If you were in a situation where your only source of heat was a shaft of direct sunlight, would you be better off lying at an angle and getting more surface area coverage, or a more concentrated beam?

Sometimes when wearing sunglasses I can see a magnified reflection of my face on the inside of the lens. This reflection is in perfect focus, but normally if I looked at something that close, it would be blurry as hell. What gives?

Hi, sorry in advance if I'm in the wrong place. I had COVID and am experiencing parosmia, which I understand to be a somewhat rare side effect. I've wondered: is there any way to make my experience helpful to others? Can I record and share my observations with a doctor or something?
