When popping a balloon I get teleported to an endless void and eventually to the stairway to heaven, so I literally cant pop any gift balloons at all, anyone else experienced this

Im in the final area of the game with pets that have 21 trillion power, why aren't they breaking things fast? im using all the proper boosts and such as well, i just feel like they are way weaker than they should be.
