[WP] Time travel induced timeline changes don't happen anymore because every time a traveler considers doing something paradoxical in the past their future self appears and tells them what happens. You just killed Hitler, an action considered the biggest taboo in time travel, and nobody stopped you.

[WP] Considering humanity to be a destructive affront to nature, a mad scientist travels back in time and kills the first two Homo sapiens to evolve. As soon as he does this an entity referring to itself as "Mother Nature" appears before him and tells him that he messed up big time.
