I've heard all my life that the Middle East was essentially peaceful coexistence between Jews and Muslims until Western mandates divided territory arbitrarily. How much of this is fact versus fiction?

The Founding Fathers wrote in the federalist papers that sovereign immunity is justified because an individual should not be able to put the will of the people on trial. How is this not in conflict with the idea of individual liberties in regards to the rest of the constitution?
